KORE and Kigen Launch Next-Generation SGP.32 IoT Connectivity Solutions

KORE and Kigen Launch Next-Generation SGP.32 IoT Connectivity Solutions

Key Highlights

  • KORE Group Holdings and Kigen are introducing SGP.32-based IoT connectivity solutions.
  • The platform is built on the GSMA’s next-generation eSIM standard for global device management.
  • Commercial availability is expected later in 2026.

KORE Group Holdings has announced a new portfolio of SGP.32-compliant connectivity solutions in partnership with Kigen, aimed at enabling scalable and flexible global Internet of Things (IoT) deployments.

The solutions are based on the GSMA’s next-generation eSIM standard, designed specifically for IoT use cases. They support a wide range of connected devices, from high-power gateways to low-energy sensors, making them suitable for diverse industrial and enterprise environments.

With commercial availability planned for later in 2026, the offering is positioned to address growing demand for reliable and adaptable IoT connectivity across global markets.

Flexible Connectivity With Remote Management

The SGP.32 solutions provide enterprises with the ability to remotely provision, switch, and optimize connectivity without the need for manual intervention. This eliminates the need for costly on-site maintenance, often referred to as “truck rolls,” improving operational efficiency.

The platform includes multiple connectivity profiles tailored to different requirements, such as streamlined roaming, multi-network resilience, and localized connectivity with intelligent failover and recovery capabilities.

This flexibility allows organizations to manage connected devices across regions while adapting to changing network conditions and operational needs over time.

Built for Scalability and Interoperability

A key focus of the partnership is enabling large-scale IoT deployments with seamless interoperability. The solution is designed to integrate with carrier-grade infrastructure, ensuring compatibility across networks and devices.

Kigen is contributing its GSMA-certified eSIM and eIM technology, providing a secure foundation for enterprise-grade connectivity. This supports the ability to manage device fleets throughout their lifecycle while maintaining consistent performance and security.

According to Ron Totton, President and CEO of KORE Group Holdings, “Enterprise customers don’t just need standards – they need a proven way to operationalize them at scale.”

Advancing the Future of IoT Connectivity

Industry leaders view SGP.32 as a significant step forward in simplifying IoT connectivity. The standard is designed to reduce complexity and improve flexibility, allowing enterprises to deploy and scale connected devices more efficiently.

Vincent Korstanje, CEO of Kigen, noted that the new standard enables more secure and resilient connectivity, helping organizations overcome long-standing barriers to large-scale IoT adoption.

Supporting Evolving Global Requirements

The new solution also addresses the need for adaptability in global deployments. Enterprises can localize connectivity, maintain uptime, and manage changes remotely across long device lifecycles.

By combining programmable connectivity with a unified eSIM-based platform, KORE Group Holdings aims to provide a future-ready solution that aligns with evolving regulatory requirements and network environments.
