SYNERGISTIC! How do the company and its employees justify the name itself?
When something is Synergistic, it means various parts are working together to produce an enhanced result.
I began building a Synergistic team of seasoned professionals in 2018, ensuring each member had an impressive background and plenty of achievements, but more importantly, confirming they all share a common desire: to put their combined entrepreneurial spirit toward something new. We truly are ‘Synergistic’ in the way all of these experts seamlessly work together.
Advertising and Digital Marketing have a huge canvas, what part Synergistic mostly would like to cater to and why?
Among our biggest points of difference is the ability to serve as that connective tissue between a client’s business unit leadership and their sales team. We’ve got the talent to take complex technical information and transform it into an accessible, relevant story that remains faithful to the Brand’s voice. Keeping that level of consistency in communication produces powerful results, and that’s our favorite area of influence and what makes us unique in the marketplace.
Elucidate on the spectrum of your services both in Digital and Traditional Marketing.
Because all businesses want to grow and scale, when it comes to the services we offer, Synergistic is a professional strategic resource specializing in brand building, digital/portfolio marketing, web development, paid media, and sales enablement. Each team member is driven by a passion for taking the complex and making it easy to understand – not out in a silo but strategically nestled between sales and the product.
Whether your audience comes to digital or goes to a salesperson, Synergistic will arm them with what they need to succeed. Synergistic believes that marketing should never be so complex that a product team doesn’t understand.
What’s your point on the introduction of Metaverse? What do you think, about how it’s going to help/hamper the digital spaces?
First of all, I’ve always believed that the Metaverse was intended from the beginning to be much more than just a virtual reality application. The Metaverse will require us to adapt to new ways of working and interacting, which Synergistic has always shown to be adept at doing. If it delivers what’s promised, we will be able to have both a real-world more on our own terms as far as location and work/life balance, and an interactive, dynamic world of work in which we collaborate and create in virtual spaces with more true-to-life connections than we’ve experienced through technology before.
I’m constantly open to new ways to think about connecting with one another socially, professionally, in groups as audience members, or even opponents in a game.
Who holds the leadership at Synergistic? Tell us about him/her and the journey behind the venture.
I “Anthony Breen” Founded Synergistic, and for me, it’s been all about outcomes, all of the time – even from the beginning while earning a finance and entrepreneurship degree from Xavier. Early in my career when I reached out to endocrinologists and families and worked with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation to launch “My Healthy Tale” for Minerva Health Learning Systems. It was an educational app for diabetic kids to help them manage their diabetes while at school or attending sleepovers so that they could enjoy stress-free, healthy childhoods – it’s always about figuring out challenges.
When I launched “Feasty Eats,” an app built to connect hungry consumers with exclusive sponsored restaurant offers in real-time, it has consistently been about staying naturally curious, collaborative, entrepreneurial, and enterprising. It’s now part of Synergistic DNA to recognize opportunity and bring new, innovative ideas to the table.
Our ability to understand the drivers and the desires of the target audience allows us to deliver the right message to the right person at the right time. As we continue to grow, from Paid Media to Strategy and Creative Concepting and Copy, new leaders are emerging and playing pivotal roles. I can honestly say we have the smartest people I know. The way they solve the most difficult and complex challenges for our clients is inspiring. I’m proud of our growth and beyond excited for what’s still to come.
Why Advertising and Digital marketing, out of a plethora of business opportunities in the digital space?
The best way for businesses to emerge better than before is to leave the fluff behind and train a laser focus on results. There are tech gurus, brand agencies and marketing firms, but today, there needs to be a strategic combination of all of them to ensure a powerhouse of successful outcomes for clients, and that’s the sweet spot for Synergistic in the advertising and digital marketing space: paid media, business and brand strategy, consulting, and execution. Staying relentlessly focused on results is what keeps us curious and gutsy.

We set out in 2018 to change the game for our first client by driving the connection of tech to sales and to marketing. And we apply that strategy across a variety of industries and verticals, including CPG and service. It’s all about proactively and consistently adding value and discovering opportunities –
Wherever it leads, in terms of stepping up, our Paid Media team now connects the dots between media metrics and business outcomes. And we do that every day through an innovative tech-forward media strategy that exceeds our client’s expectations. Adding this expertise in owned content is now leading to navigating the earned media landscape from Influencer to PR, so continuous advancement in the digital world is a given here at Synergistic.

Synergistic was just named to the annual Inc. 5000 List which is the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing private companies. We ranked #12 in Ohio and #5 in Cincinnati for Advertising and Marketing companies. It’s an honor to be acknowledged for our exponential company growth over the past three years, but we continue to keep our focus on igniting client growth, so it’s exciting to represent our industry while expanding our service offerings as well as our investment in talent. The Inc. 5000 recognition joins our other recent accolades including being named First-Place winner in our revenue category at the 2022 Fast 55 Awards.
Tell us about your future endeavors and what preparations Synergistic is coming with.
All future endeavors will be guided by Synergistic’s North Star: Meaningful growth. We’re humbled by the loyalty shared by our satisfied clients and I’m excited to keep the momentum going into 2023 and beyond. Our clients have rewarded our commitment to their success with referrals from their own network. So, our enthusiasm and focus will continue to be on what makes Synergistic so unique: bringing deep, rich expertise to clients’ brand, marketing, sales, and media challenges. Tell us how Synergistic gives back.
This is a passion point. We love giving back to our community and helping people grow within it. To that end, every year, we select up to three pro-bono causes to support as part of our philanthropic mission. Promoting volunteerism is a core value at Synergistic. We’re working for the Ken Anderson Alliance and their mission to create “live, work, engage” opportunities for adults with developmental disabilities. With the pandemic’s impact on mental health, our work with Butler County Mental Wellness to drive awareness is another example of how we like to give back.
For our own folks, we built out a 6,000-square-foot space with exercise equipment on-site for everyone and have a professional trainer available for individualized workouts. I believe staying sharp mentally and physically definitely provides a winning edge. It’s part of our culture – getting the best people, retaining them, nurturing a creative environment, and helping to find a way to innovate. Ultimately, culture is simply a shared way of doing something with a passion, and that’s what Synergistic is all about.
